The Institute of Cell Biology and Neurobiology (IBCN) was instituted on December 21, 2010 joining research groups of INMM (Institute of Neurobiology and Molecular Medicine), IBC (Cell Biology Institute) and IN (Neuroscience Institute) of Rome, to carry out scientific investigations along the following main themes:

Genotype-phenotype correlations including behavioral studies, mouse genetics and animal modeling to study to study

Study of molecular and cell mechanisms involved in biologici process regulations, like neural and muscular development and differentiation, cell cyle, cell proliferation and neoplastic transformation.

Production, storage, dissemination and primary phenotyping of murine mutants, models of human diseases (INFRAFRONTIER).
